No product, however, can ensure complete protection from injury, physical damage or death to a rider in the event of a fall, impact, loss of vehicle control or otherwise. We disclaim all responsibility for injuries incurred while wearing any of our products and make no guarantee expressed or implied, regarding the level or extent to which our products protect individuals or property from injury, damage or death.
Repairs and AlterationsRubber Side Down is not responsible for any articles of clothing left for either alteration or repair after 21 days from completion of work. We strongly urge you to pick up your items as quickly as possible once the article has been completed to avoid any unforeseen circumstances.
Terms and ConditionsAll shipping charges for goods of any kind are the responsibility of the customer. All sale items are final.
All orders shipped to the United States will not be charged any tax. Orders shipped in Canada to provinces outside of British Columbia will be assessed the proper taxes. Rubber Side Down will recalculate the sales tax correctly if not done so on our website. If a product is temporarily out of stock please allow approximately four weeks for receipt of order. RSD will ship your goods to you by any carrier you choose.
Credit Card Orders can only be shipped to a verified Billing Address unless you contact us and make alternate arrangements. We can only ship credit card Orders after all information is verified and matched. Check, Money Order will be shipped once payment has been received in full. All unpaid orders will be canceled after 30 calendar days. For international orders if the ordered item is not in stock , item will be shipped as soon as we receive the new order from our manufacturer. We will notify the customer of any back order longer than 10 business days.
Exchanges: In-store and orderedWe are happy to exchange your purchased items if you have ordered an incorrect size. Please do not damage the packaging or remove the tags and/or protective coverings from your merchandise until you’ve determined that it is the right size. All exchanges must receive approval within 10 days from receipt of goods.
Never ship an item in its original manufacturers packaging as it will arrive damaged. Please use a postal box or other adequate packaging to ensure your return is not damaged on the way back to Rubber Side Down. These damaged goods become the property of the buyer if not shipped properly.
ReturnsWe do not do monetary refunds at this time. Any custom made order made by Rubber Side Down is non refundable. Rubber Side Down takes every step to ensure all custom orders are delivered exactly as described, according to the customers specifications. In the rare event that something is not as the customer wishes, Rubber Side Down retains the right at it’s sole discretion to either have the item professionally altered or to reorder the item from our manufacturer with the necessary changes. All measurements received by a customer who is not measured in our store are the responsibility of that customer. Make sure you are completely familiar with how to measure all necessary areas before sending your measurements. All measurement details can be found on our "Custom Apparel" page. If you have questions at any time, please contact us and we will happily guide you through this process. Rubber Side Down will not be held responsible in any way, without exception, for goods made to wrong measurements provided by the customer.
All exchanges must be received within 10 business days from the date the item was purchased if the product is not to your satisfaction.
Claims for damaged merchandise must be made with the shipping carrier. Please keep all shipping cartons and all packing materials for carrier inspection. Rubber Side Down cannot initiate any claims with the carrier.
All special orders or non stock items must be paid for in full at the time of order. Rubber Side Down makes every effort to ensure special orders and custom orders are processed in the most timely and efficient manner possible, however we will in no way be held responsible for delays on ordered garments above and beyond our control. No cancellations, refunds, or exchanges on custom order items will be made without exception, as money has been paid by RSD up front for these pieces. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges unless other arrangements have been made.
WarrantyRubber Side Down warranties all of its product against all manufacturer defects for a period of 6 months from date of purchase. No warranty will be valid if the defect was caused by customers abuse, negligence, or mishandling. This is at the discretion of Rubber Side Down only. It is the customer’s responsibility to retain all invoices for their records and warranty claims.
Order Cancellations or ChangesIn the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your online order with us or change an item after your order has been placed, please be aware that in some situations an item has to be specially ordered from our manufacturer. Once your item has been processed it cannot be cancelled. Any item not in stock or on back order may take time to get. This wait time is dependent on the work load of our manufacturer. RSD makes every effort to ensure the most timely delivery of all ordered garments, however on occasion increased wait times do occur.

The following is Rubber Side Down’s policy regarding all custom pieces:
Any custom made order produced by Rubber Side Down is non refundable at any time without exception. Rubber Side Down takes all possible steps to ensure that each custom order is delivered to the customer according to their specifications. In the event that something is not as the customer ordered when the product arrives, Rubber Side Down reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to either have the item professionally amended, or to reorder the item from our manufacturer with the necessary changes.
Any claims against goods provided by Rubber Side Down must be received within seven
business days from the date the item was picked up or inspected by the customer.
All custom made pieces, special orders or items which are not in stock must be paid for in full by the customer at the time of ordering. There are no cancellations, changes or refunds once the order has been placed as we endeavor to submit the order immediately after receiving it.
Rubber Side Down strives to ensure all orders are processed in the most timely and efficient manner possible. This is usually within a four to five week period, however we will in no way be held responsible for delays of any kind above and beyond our control or otherwise.
No cancellations, refunds or exchanges will be given on any delayed orders, as money has been paid up front by Rubber Side Down for these pieces. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges unless other arrangements have been made.
