Rubber Side Down motorsport clothing company was started with one goal in mind;  to provide top quality riding gear to our community at low, and honest pricing.  Josh Dirnfeld, owner of Rubber Side Down believes there is an alternative to the inflated prices we are paying for riding gear.   He did the research, contacted manufacturers worldwide, negotiated, and made it clear what he wanted in the RSD product lineup.

"My vision ultimately became a reality".

In his own words, Josh writes the following : "Rubber Side Down continues to be an ongoing process as we are constantly revising, updating and adding practical features to our gear. 

RSD has seen tremendous growth  from the support of the riding community over the past three years.  For this, I thank all of you .  I learned firsthand what protective, quality motorcycle clothing was all about from my years of racing motorcycles. I felt it was important to pass this knowledge along to other riders at prices which were not unreasonable.

Prior to opening Rubber Side Down I looked at samples from all over the world before making the decision as to what protective gear I was going to sell.  "Good" was often not good enough. 

All RSD garments are inspected, and are not sold until all quality standards have been met.   Helping customers with anything to do with motorcycles and other motorsports is my passion, and I welcome any feedback, questions or concerns you may have.

I have one manufacturer who specializes in custom pieces only.  This includes any style ,design or feature a customer wants.

As with any new business, there have been minor frustrations along the way, but hey, "shit happens".  My customers have been great during these rare occasions. 

If there is a piece of clothing on our website, which is not in stock, we will order it in for you. (A minimum fifty percent down payment is required for any special order items.)
